Model exhibited and reproduced on p. 181 in the catalogue of the exhibition "L'orfèvrerie civile ancienne du pays de Liège" at the Musée de l'Art Wallon in 1991. Weight 437 gr

Pair of Persian silver vases with floral decoration and crested cranes, each adorned with 3 enamelled plaques (15x10 cm) depicting monuments including the Chehel Sotoun palace and the Shah's mosque in Isfahan. Small chip to one plate and one vase slightly dented. Height : 31 cm. Gross weight: 2800 gr. Provenance: gift from the Shah of Iran to the donor's family in gratitude for accommodating his daughter during her studies in Belgium (between 1952 and 1958).
