The lid is decorated with two "mon", the Japanese coat of arms, in gold lacquer, representing a wheel with a flower in the centre. Coat of arms of the Miyake family. Edo period (1615-1867). Early 18th century. L: 39 cm, W: 27 cm, H: 26 cm. A certificate of authenticity from Madame Gisèle Croës is included.
