Pair of Persian silver vases with floral decoration and crested cranes, each adorned with 3 enamelled plaques (15x10 cm) depicting monuments including the Chehel Sotoun palace and the Shah's mosque in Isfahan. Small chip to one plate and one vase slightly dented. Height : 31 cm. Gross weight: 2800 gr. Provenance: gift from the Shah of Iran to the donor's family in gratitude for accommodating his daughter during her studies in Belgium (between 1952 and 1958).
